Bollywood hottie Katrina Kaif hired a private charter to visit Azhagusirai village in tamilnadu as a step to eradicate female infanticide. Katrina kaif had long been involved in this project along with her mother  Susanne Turquotte who heads an organisation called “Relief projects India” in Chennai. It is so difficult to raise female children in this village due to poverty that the female child is either killed or abandoned. Katrina Kaif and her mother have identified and supervised the construction of a neonatal and baby care venture to take care of these abandoned babies. Katrina Kaif has decided to start a skill development centre for such children and she calls this wing “little darlings”. Katrina Kaif also plans  of starting similar project closer to Mumbai where she would be in a position to devote her time and energy for this noble cause which enables in bringing a new ray of hope and confidence to these less fortunates. Katrina recognises this as a duty to human race more than just being a diva on screen.
